Washington DC Police Memorial Week 2009

Some pics from the Police Week Memorial and Washington DC sites in May 2009. I was able to travel back for the placing of my friend William "Bill" Hakim's name on the wall of the Memorial. He died in a tragic explosion in Woodburn, Oregon on December 12, 2009. These are just some pics of the Memorial itself and some of the surrounding sites.

Sunday Routine

I thought I would post a little of our particularly good Sunday Morning Routine from today. We were still late though! What can you do?

Temple Visit

Wonderful visit to the Portland, Oregon Temple last night with Cindy and Mark and Michelle. We had a good session and delicious meal at Chevy's. Tyler babysat Charlie and Halle and Brandon graciously watched his younger siblings. It's nice to have willing children so we can go to the temple. I so appreciate them. Well, back to the hustle and bustle of getting ready for Church.

Cassie Graduates from Preschool

We had a great time at Cassie's Warrior Preschool Graduation last week. She was very formal in her attire. The teachers felt bad to make her wear the visor hat but she said, "Cassie decided she would consent to it!" I would have liked to hear that conversation.

Our recent trip to Vegas

We went to Las Vegas with the In-Laws to see my brother in-law and his family. It was so much fun and absolutely gorgeous the whole time we were there. My first visit but definately not my last! How much did I gamble you say? Not a penny!!!!

No one knew! I am also an expert climber!
